How Our Emergency Response Works

Call (805) 900-3459 any hour. Text us photos of the situation if you can — a few photos usually let us dispatch the right crew and equipment on the first trip instead of a look-and-return. For true emergencies — tree on an occupied structure, blocked access — we typically arrive within 2–4 hours anywhere in our Ventura County service area.

On arrival we secure the scene: assessing what's under tension (storm-damaged trees store enormous spring-loaded energy and hurt people who cut them wrong), stabilizing or removing the immediate hazard, and getting weight off structures carefully — often piece by piece with rigging, or with a crane for large trees on roofs. Once the hazard is controlled, we complete the removal, clear the debris, and can grind the stump on a follow-up visit.

If the situation is urgent but not tonight-urgent — a cracked limb that's holding for now — we'll tell you that honestly, secure what needs securing, and schedule the full work within 24–48 hours instead of charging you emergency rates for a non-emergency.

Emergency work costs more than scheduled work — that's true of every reputable company, because it means mobilizing a crew immediately, sometimes at 2 a.m. Typical emergency removals in our area run $500–$2,500 depending on the size of the tree, whether it's on a structure, and access. Large trees on houses requiring crane work run more. We quote before we cut, even in emergencies, so there's no invoice shock on top of everything else.

The honest cost picture: much of this is often insurance-covered when a structure is involved (see below), and the alternative — waiting days while a compromised tree sits on your roof through another wind event — is usually the more expensive path.
